Steve Sandweg
Chief Executive Officer
Steve brings over 30 years of sales leadership and commercial experience in cardiovascular and structural heart technologies. His career includes progressively senior roles at Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Direct Flow Medical, Keystone Heart, and EBR Systems, where he most recently served as General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer, respectively.
Dr. David Meerkin
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. David Meerkin is an interventional cardiologist and a pioneer of interventions in structural and congenital heart disease. He has been involved in extensive device development for nearly two decades consulting for Israeli and international companies. A regular speaker at international medical conferences, Dr. Meerkin trained in Melbourne, Australia and specialized in Internal Medicine & Cardiology at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and in Interventional Cardiology at the Montreal Heart Institute in Canada.
Yoni Mizrahi
Chief Financial Officer
Yoni is an experienced CFO with a strong track record in high-growth technology companies, leading financial operations from start-up to global expansion and successful exits. She served as CFO of LightCyber, acquired by Palo Alto Networks, where she built the company’s financial and operational infrastructure, and held senior finance roles at UroGen Pharma and Pythagoras Solar. At Qwilt, she led global financial operations and supported the company’s rapid growth.
Nadav Yellin
Chief Operating Officer
Nadav is a seasoned leader in cardiovascular device design with a unique track record of driving innovation from concept through clinical application. Since Valcare’s founding, he has led the company’s product development, overseeing a broad, multidisciplinary scope that spans engineering, operations, and clinical activities. His leadership integrates cross-functional teams to advance complex technologies from early development through clinical readiness.
Madhuri Bhat
Chief Regulatory & Clinical Officer
Madhuri has over 25 years of experience in public affairs, public policy, due diligence, clinical, quality, and regulatory. She led several successful pivotal clinical trials and multiple registries and secured PMA, 510(K), and CE Mark regulatory approvals and clearances globally for Class II and III cardiovascular systems. Madhuri was the Chief Regulatory Officer at EBR Systems and has served as Vice-President RA/Clinical for companies in the reproductive, GI, neurological, urological, and cardiovascular such as Kyma Medical (Zoll). Prior to that, she was the VP of RA/QC at Barrx Medical and VP of RA/Clinical at Corventis (Medtronic) and held leadership roles at Guidant and Abbott.

Alessandro serves as Executive Chairman of the Board. At TechWald, he focuses on investments in high-potential early-stage MedTech companies. With more than 40 years extensive leadership experience across Fortune 500 medical device firms – such as Johnson & Johnson, St. Jude Medical, and W. L. Gore – including roles as CEO, General Manager, and Country Manager, he brings proven board and executive insight to Valcare Medical.
Jacques Séguin MD, PhD

Jacques was responsible for developing the self- expandable TAVR procedure CoreValve, a company he founded and headed which was subsequently acquired by Medtronic in 2009. After that, he was founder at ReCor Medical, a renal denervation company acquired by the Japanese company Otsuka in 2018. Jacques is currently founder, investor and board member of many innovative medtech companies.
Jeffrey Jump
Director
Jeffrey has over 45 years of medical device experience and 20 years at the board level. He founded and served as Chairman & CEO of MedAlliance, sold to Cordis for $1.2 billion. Jeffrey previously led publicly listed Biosensors International as CEO, President, Board Director while growing it to the world’s 4 th largest cardiac drug-eluting stent supplier. He chairs Casper Medical, TexRay, Transluminal/ Circlage and serves on Valcare, Compahya SA. boards.
Chris Richardson

Chris has over 30 years of experience in medical devices and an extensive record of leading startups from clinical study phase through regulatory approvals and launch to acquisition. Prior, he served as President & CEO of Keystone Heart which was acquired by Venus Medtech in 2018 and also as International President & CEO of Direct Flow Medical and General Manager of Evalve (now MitraClip/Abbott).
